We bought an older home on 1/3 acre, with beautiful, but neglected gardens and no irrigation system or sprinklers. Eric Von of Von Landscaping listened to my objectives carefully, did a close inspection of the property, took photos, and made a few suggestions to clarify what we wanted. He was punctual, friendly, professional and knowledgable. His contract made sense, and work began exactly when he said it would. His workers were friendly, neat, punctual, and eager. Although the project involved excavating existing paths, trenching for the water system, and installing yards of water lines with sprinklers/emitters, they never went home without cleaning up the area or putting away their tools. The project finished when Eric said it would, with a better result than I imagined. We are looking forward to starting another follow-on project with Von Landscaping as soon as weather permits. Although their bid was neither the lowest nor the highest, their fee for the work was fair and reasonable. These folks know what they are doing!

We left a beautiful yard, designed and landscaped by my husband which evolved over 29 years into a park-like setting. So when we moved to our new home we had lots of ideas for our very large backyard but didn’t want to do the work.
I searched online and found Von Landscaping. Our first meeting with Eric involved sharing our ideas, a Japanese garden, and hearing his. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional explaining in detail his process. We really liked the fact that he not only designs the project but does the work himself.
Eric came up with an impressive rendering which we jumped on and were anxious to get started. Within about 3 weeks he had begun work. A fence panel at the back of the yard was carefully removed in order to accommodate the “bobcat”, and replaced each day. We enjoyed watching Eric work on the dry riverbed, very thoughtfully and meticulously placing the big boulders and then adding the different sizes of river rock.
Our project will be done in 2 stages, the first of which is completed. Now we wait patiently until the fall when the weather cools and planting will take place.
We are very happy with Eric and recommend him to anyone wanting a professional landscape architect who communicates well, works really hard and who takes great pride in his work!

We had been trying to get a different local landscaping company to commit to doing work that they had bid on, and a couple of times had said they would be over after wrapping up a couple other projects. It was frustrating.
Then one day walked by Eric and Von Landscaping doing some work and decided to make a call to see if there was any possibility of scheduling time for just even a bid and a schedule.
GLAD WE DID! Eric, Albert and Jeremiah just finished a project to put in steps on a steep incline at our home, and retool the sprinkler system to add more zones and better water management. They had to dig through very rocky soil, haul dirt and rock up the steep incline and haul gravel and fill down the same incline. Worked hard, nonstop, and finished on schedule and in budget.
Eric will be honest with you all along the way, tell you what he can and can’t do, and will keep you informed about anything that would need some judgement and decisions. Albert was expert and working with the sprinkler system and knowing what would work best on the steep slope. Jeremiah was always doing something, never idle, sweeping or cleaning or moving something all day long.
If you need landscaping done, check with Von Landscaping before you check anywhere else.

We've used Von Landscaping for several years now and HIGHLY recommend them for any type of landscaping work. Many of my neighbors also use Eric for their landscape work and universally, we've only heard good things about his service. The work Eric has done for us includes annual backflow preventer testing/reporting, lawn thatching and re-seeding, specialized tree care, new plantings and adjustments to sprinklers.

He was able to blend climate, watering needs and personal taste to bring to life my beautiful balanced yard that's now easy for me to care for and looks spectacular!
